THE DESIGN PROCESS

STAGE ONE
The first step involves meeting in your garden or outdoor area. I will ask you to complete a questionnaire to establish what you like in a garden; what you want from your garden; how you intend to use your space, and any likes and dislikes (one person's plastic gnome is another person's teak chainsaw sculpture - I won't judge!)
We will walk around together to get a feel for your space and have an informal chat where I will offer off-the-cuff ideas. I will also measure up and take photos where required if time allows, or make a return visit to do this.
After the consultation, I follow up with a written brief that details my fees for the next stage of the process.
Price: £70 for an approximately 1-hour consultation

STAGE TWO
Following the initial consultation and after the design fee has been agreed, I then prepare a rough concept drawing for discussion where the design can be refined and modified.
At this stage, 50% of the design fee would be payable.

STAGE THREE
Once the proposed design has been agreed upon, I produce your bespoke garden design that could include scale plans and artist’s impression sketches.
Should you wish, these drawings can be used to obtain quotes from landscaping contractors (I am happy to recommend local landscaping companies who could help with your project).
